Guess Who Took Campaign Funds From Pay Day Lenders?

Milwaukee needs Radio Talk Show Host Earl Ingram (1290 WMCS) to get on the radio and ask the following question of State Senator Spencer Coggs (D.). Why did you accept $1,000 from Trevor Ahlberg (Irving, TX) owner of Cash Store for your 2008 campaign?

Then WE need Earl to ask State Representative Tamara Grigsby why she accepted $500 from Thomas Wilcox (Sioux Falls, SD) owner of Ameri-cash Advance Centers?

Family YOU’VE been took once again from those YOU entrust to watch your back. I’m not making this up and here are the facts as reported on Wisconsin Democracy Campaign (http://www.wisdc.org/).

I’ve attached screenshots of the contributions that Coggs and Grigsby have received over the past several years. I highlight the Pay Day Loan contributions because of the legislation that was recently passed. However, notice how much money (donations over $100) are coming to YOUR elected official from OUTSIDE of their districts.

I’ve said it time and time again, follow the money and you’ll understand the legislation and process. If WE are not financially backing OUR officials, someone else is and they are benefiting from that support.

If you read this Earl… one more thing, ask them about the other contributors and how they benefit from their financial support. Here are those screenshots for your review.

  1. Thank you for this information. This explains alot and makes me shake my head. These Pay day loan stores take advantage of people all day evry day and our legislators seem to think it is okay while voting themselves raises annually. I think we need to start making our votes take action for those who are vicitmized by these places and these legislators in the name of supporting our own!
    Great work Giant!!

  2. Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any methods to stop hackers?
