The basic meaning of the word religion is “A way of Life or Living.” Connected with religions is a God or Godhead, in contexts of physical or mental, that followers and believer’s profess their submission and authority over their lives and actions e.g., Islam God Allah is mental unseeing with the human eye, Christianity God has heads depicted in painted imagery of a man. Again, looking at the basic meaning of a word. God simply means “force and power.” Head means the upper part of the human body separated from the body by the neck.
Keeping the above basic concepts and meanings in mind, if one ever realizes it in their lifetime. One grows into an understanding that institutionalized religions and their dogma has evolved from one source that source is MAN. Man is the maker of religions to help him with understanding, comprehending, and control (positive and negative results) the realities of life.
Much debate and arguments revolve about that one source, which all religions are connected. People are born into the world knowing nothing. Our social environments shape our understanding, learning, and knowledge of the world. Knowledge of things is subjective to environment and the degree of formative information made available through exploration, study of subject matters then given, taught, and explored further then shared to other’s not having and seeking knowledge and understanding into things. This process happens like a ticking clock throughout the history of humanity.
Now in particular, the Black man and woman (majority wise) here in North America today are descendants of x slaves. Those slaves were in physical captivity for a period estimated to be 300 years, or 12 generations having no light (proper knowledge of things) given, or taught to the children of slaves, which those children eventually had, children, obviously did not have knowledge to teach their children for 12 generations, or 300 years.
A Slave life consisted of physical servitude to White society, day in through day out, year after year for Twenty-five years times, four, times three equals three hundred years. The tenth generation of slaves (250 year mark) were introduce to a religion that reinforced the slave master will into the mind of the slaves that accepted this new indoctrination of servitude. That new servitude indoctrination was the religion of the slave master’s called Christianity.
Christianity has proven to be, a perpetual mental conditioning that would constantly trigger submissiveness and fear in the mind and actions of the slave less violent consequences from the master, even when his or her master was out of sight or not present in the immediate presents of the slave.
The religious indoctrination called Christianity proves to be everlasting as long as the slave and the children of slaves worshiped the Christian Godhead called Jesus Christ. This explains why today even well-educated “Free Black men and women backed by Constitutional Civil Rights, here in America and around the world submit to White people authority over them in the greater society. Black Americans today practicing and believing in the Christian Godhead called Jesus Christ, are similar in mind and actions of the Black slaves of old.
Black America it is just that simple. Practicing religions that teach “force and power” resides somewhere outside of your body, and the only way to connect to that power and force is through submission while you live and devote your will to that particular religious dogma. Aggressively these religions teach followers and believers they will meet the Godhead after death and then he will reward your earthly servitude to men and humanity
These religions bound humanity to follow the Godheads; Prophets, Messengers, Pope, Priest, Imams, Ministers, Preachers, Kings and Queens, Rulers of Nations and Masters / Authority positions over men, women and children during earthly life to mediate over the same forces and powers all men and women born into this reality called life are endowed with. Once coming into the knowledge of the natural order of known creations that cannot escape rationality, which governs the small things in creation it, would be natural for a slave to reject his slave master Godhead given to him to keep him bounded and controlled perpetually during his life to the slave master ways of life. The Black man and woman have not achieved this realization even after 150 years have passed since their fathers and mothers was emancipated here in America.
All humans inherit intelligence based on the developmental phases and abilities humans are capable of achieving. Each can comprehend mental or physical concepts in every particular contextual science that governs human development when given the best education man has developed. The free Black man and woman have proven this here in America.
As long as the natural human processes of learning endowed in all humans, is not developed properly within any given society, humanity will continue its negative systemic process of enslaving (mental and physical) groups and individuals.
Forces and power naturally groups or combine in promoting and seeking to control (degreed amounts) of others outside their group, to enhance their group systemic ideologies e.g. religion for the sake of world domination. Simply, yet denied and covered, to enhance race, group or individual power and force to exist in comfort and enjoy the finer things life has to offer at the exclusion of competing races, nations, and or groups melted within a society.
The Black race refuses to accept this reality of group / race competition for the sake of preservation. Even in the face of living in continue social and economic oppression under the banner of God Loves America or America the Land of The Free, which neither is a reality for Black Americans because Black Americans have not harness the power nor force that comes when groups or races unite under these banners. In essences when a group with lessor power and force unite with a group with greater force and power in the American society the lessor group becomes servants or remain servants to the greater group. Only gaining limited equality in the share of limited resources the society generates.
Black Americans love America but America does not love them. In return for their ancestor’s 300-year enslavement in a land, that was not theirs. America emancipated its tortured and captive slaves to go free without physical chains into the American society unprotected from its former slave master seeking to re-enslave or hunt down to kill newly freed Black men, women, and children.
Instead of packing up and leaving America shores returning to their rightful homeland. The majority of Black Americans infected with Christianity and its Godhead, Jesus Christ remained here in America trick into believing they had a right to the lion’s share of the White Christians controlled society.
In spite of the 150 years following the Emancipation of x Black slaves with untallied numerous murders, public lynching’s, and second class citizenship status in the society, The descendants of x slaves (Black Americans) remain growing into the tens of millions of oppressed citizens of the society. In America social cultural group terms, Black Americans are suffering more or higher rates disproportionately from the host of social-cultural ills that plaque 21st century civilizations.
While other races and ethnic groups practice and consider themselves Christians and Muslim followers and believers live in the American society they manage remaining united based on perspective races and cultures of their former homelands even though they practice Americanism. This race / ethnic unity factor generates cooperative economics that benefit their race and group first then the broader society second. This is a natural social-environmental phenomenon that occurs in the American society except with Black Americans.
I conclude in spite of Black Americans practicing and upholding American social norms (Religions in particular) that define law-abiding citizens and American patriotism, Black Americans will receive the worst of the social ills 21st century heaps on its disenfranchised second-class citizens that they are.
Until they unite with self and kind first then determine its future generations of Black Americans status. By utilizing their individual force and power combined / unified into one purpose. Like a Godhead demanding obedience and sacrifice commitments from its followers, then and only then, Black Americans will earn respect and honor they rightfully deserve from America.
Men and women cheat in relationships that is reality. My opinion in this present day mass-media driven “High Tech Lynching” of Bill Cosby is not the first time a high-profile / star status Black American was falsely accused by mass-media reporting crumbs placed by conspirators / hidden hands to attack, defame, and destroy an individual reputation and life works.
During the Jim Crow Era of American races history. American justice turn its back on estimated 6000 Black men and boys lynched by White mobs. The White mobs justified their weekly devilish deeds on an average of two (2) lynchings a week, over a period 100 years. Many of these lynchings publicized and advertised, before they occurred, in local newspapers county-by-county in America Racist society.
Of course that was then and this is now where the 20th and 21st centuries American Black men of renowned fame and status become targets of destruction. Utilizing mass-media reporting false allegations. Many of these media driven devilish campaigns end in Black men names defamed, financial resources depleted, fighting false charges in courts of law, and professional careers destroyed. Resulting in time spent in prisons and more importantly their histories of good works fighting the good fight altered in the eyes of their admirers. These results of spreading mass lies and false allegations define the new age lynching called “High-Tech Lynching.”
Let’s continue counting modern day lynching of Black man in the American society…A picture is said to be worth a thousand words. Take a look at the photos below. What do they suggest about the many ways to lynch a Black man?
Just to mention a few Black men by name who suffer(ed) from Lynchings.
Marcus Garvey, was charge with trump up charges by the FBI then later deported out of America.
Martin Luther King was falsely accused.
W.E.B. Dubois was falsely accused of being a communist then forced to move and later die in Ghana.
Minister Louis Farrakhan lives today under false charges of being anti-Semitic.
Fred Hamilton of Chicago killed by Chicago Police, in a police raid under the guise of false allegations.
Huey P. Newton was set-up by false charges then sent to prison.
O.J. Simpson in my opinion, was lure to the murder scene by “hidden hands,” charged with the murders then proved his innocence in a court of law, but his reputation is ruin in the eyes of the society and his many previous admires.
Michael Jackson fought against false allegations and criminal charges which one accuser later recanted and stated his family and attorney’s co-hearse him. You all should know how that tragedy viewed by the eyes of the greater society.
President Bill Clinton was set-up through an act of consensual sex.
Presidents Barrack Obama falsely accused of every sin under the Sun.
Stevie Wonder career came under attack and almost destroy because he took a stance against South Africa Apartheid regime uniting other major entertainers not to play “Sun City”
Dick Gregory entertainment career destroy. Mr. Gregory used his fame, and fortune as a platform to advocate for American civil and human rights for Black Americans.
Even the well-beloved Jesus Christ, loved and worship by billions of people of all races today was falsely accused made to appear guilty of false charges. You all know how that ended for JC.
I’m sure many of you reading can add to this partial list of Black men falsely accused of perpetrating crimes and dastardly deeds on unsuspecting others. The charges do not fit their known public profiles which greatly differs with their professional careers especially when these people use their honorable statuses in the society and community as a platform to fight for, or speak on behalf of the poor and disenfranchised members of the American society.
Am I stretching my argument with examples of well-known Black men and others who worked and advocated for common causes to uplift humanity, group or otherwise, and correct injustices in our society to re-balance the scale of justice and equality statuses between the Elite and Common People?
I think not…
If I may offer some clarity about Black Americans today supporting the Democratic platform. It is true Black Americans once supported the Republican Party. The two political parties began to flip-flop membership in 1964. Our freed forefathers and mothers who remained (99%) in America naturally joined the Republican Party after the Emancipation Proclamation because of the so-call American Emancipator, Abe Lincoln was a Republican.
The Democratic Party for the most part was Southern / Confederate ideology base. Up to when Democrat Lyndon Johnson signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Voting Blacks jump the ship of the Republican party to the Democratic Party during this period in American politics. Likewise with Whites leaving their Democratic Party joining the Republican. A Democrat today is not a Democrat 150 years ago.
I contend it would have been better for all Emancipated slaves be repatriated back to our homelands in Africa. Sadly, that is the apex of the dilemma Black Americans will always face being descendants of freed slaves, “here by choice” dealing with knowingly or unknowingly. And if anyone researched fully what Abe Lincoln fully desired for x slaves one would realize it included full repatriation of our freed forefathers and mothers.
President Lincoln full emancipation plan was not the desires of the US Congress, backed by the Elite’s which many members retained new and improved Confederate ideologies. Regarding using Black men and women perpetually as newly adopted lower class citizens, to continue building Southern States and Industrial Northern States.
Thereby, paying low wage earnings for “Black Servitude” to benefit White America.Black Americans have yet to realize American politricks two-party system..
When we do, if we do, we will begin the task to create a Black Political Party that represents real group thinking for the advancement of Black Americans in all of America’s social institutions.
The after effects of electing America’s first Black President has created a vacuüm in the American society. Tail Spinning American politics between its divided lines not seen in 150 years.
The true problem with 21st Century Black Americans is we are divided as a group / race within our group. We are socially mechanized under the controlled majority white group / race here in America. So much so to our own demise we are unable to seize this shifting moment in American politics and its society looking for “real change.” Yet the society over-all does not have the will to correct its inherited race problems from the 19th and 20th Centuries.
Black Americans; For the sake of our future posterity here in the American society must desist at once all our group divisions. Come together regardless of all White American social ideologies (New and Old) we have learned and adapted. Use those ideologies to create and advance the new structure “Change” stalled here in the infancy of the 21st Century.
We must break the alliance with all past social experiments that have failed the past 60 years to make sure for our posterity, all American citizens, and people of the World an end to the brutal past centuries still plaguing humanity today.
BLACK MAN AND WOMAN WAKE UP!
Why should Black / African-Americans that are descendants from slaves repatriate names from their original lands, AFRICA?
During slavery thousands of our fore-fathers and mothers were offer the opportunity to enter payment agreements for their freedom from slave master’s who own them like “property.” Not to have adopted or take back our Black / African names after being Emancipated from slavery is a gross oversight of our fore-fathers and mothers. Reclaiming their stolen and lost identities evidently did not enter their minds. Doing so would have cognitively DECLARED TRUE INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM FROM AMERICAN SLAVERY.
Presently, now 150 years have passed from the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 and the 1865 enactment of the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that abolished slavery in the US. State and County Governments persist today in charging the descendants of x slaves court and legal fees to legally change adopted White / European names. IT’S AS THOUGH WE ARE STILL SLAVES. FORCED TO BUY OUR FREEDOM FROM SLAVE OWNERS.
Why is it today the descendants of slaves wishing to reclaim their lost and stolen legacy are legally mandated to pay court fees to change these “hand me down” adopted White / European names? For the most part our loving parents handed these names down, but they was and many are still, blinded mentally by the racist societal conditions in America which denounces and ridicules our true African heritage and home lands. This keeps many of us dislocated from who, what, when, why and where answers and reasons for necessity of having a name designating one’s race. Particularly, Black Americans by majority stand out from other races in the American society holding another groups sir names. This matter serves as a signal to the broader society that group-wise Black Americans still do not know the value of a name, nor the value of group thinking. As it applies to other groups far more unified than present day Black Americans.
Historically, in many cases Federal Govt census workers imposed European Surnames on newly emancipated slaves during and after the 1870 Census Population Count. Prior census collecting data reveals slaves were not assigned each names. Newly freed man and woman would sign an X following first names given mostly by loving mothers who birth them.
The lack of a desire and knowledge of many Black Americans to reclaim their names for the sake of heritage and a symbol of independents from former slave masters is a non-debatable issue between Black Americans. Personally I’m bother by this because the majority continue in misguided and misplaced pride in having European names. This issue is open to much ongoing disagreements between concerned and non-concerned Black Americans. The value of original names vs adopted European names by x American slaves in their prodigy remaining in America appears a closed case.
Anyone advocating the issue most time is ignore and brushed to the side in conversations. Those few, but many that repatriate their self-identity are condemned by family and group members in some way or another that isolates awareness of holding a “proper name” as radical(s) or non-conforming group thinker which is not to bad a title. Considering the overall status / standings of Black Americans in the American society.
We as a group in the American society should by all sound reasoning place high value in holding a formal “repatriated” name.
