SOTU 2012…Disney Meets Washington

sotu header

As I tucked my kids in for bed last night I was not the only one telling fairytales and painting dreams of a most vivid and vibrant future and a “happily ever after.” I was joined by President Obama in fantasy and fiction telling. As we lay our “kids” to bed in the hopes they are nourished in the dreams and alternate realities we lay out for them, what did we really say? NOT MUCH!! Although I was preaching from the gospel of Disney. Mr. Obama’s fairytale should have come from the Brothers Grimm!

An Inconvenient Truth: Wisconsin Recalls are Draining Us!

recall party

Here we go again with another recall cycle. This time the next up to the execution block is Governor Scott Walker. However this recall won’t be as easy as some people seem to think. There are a lot of factors that will not be reflected in the polls or by the media. Whether you are Republican or Democrat there is much to think about before you sign your name to any recall petition or refute the whole process entirely.

Wednesday Rants. WW Wednesday All Over The Place!

WW is all over the place today talking politics! Is Obama the antichrist? The truth behind Barrett’s axing firefighters. A little sport-that was a sucker punch you know! Some things on the horizon, new comers to local politics and a little humor and a crazed Lena Taylor make for a fun and wet WW Wednesday!

Obama and DNC Sued for RACISM!

Racist-Democrat-poster

Perryman said President Obama was named as a defendant not only because he is the official leader of the Democratic Party, but because of certain statements he made about his own party in his book, Dreams from My Father. In 2009, the President was asked to issue an apology to blacks on behalf of his party, but he refused. Unlike other reparations lawsuits, this lawsuit merely asks for a public apology, but no monetary damages.

Recall Recap Part I

Captain’s log Star date 10 August 2011…dust settled in the wake of a political frenzy known as Wisconsin. The new home and birth place of Battleground USA 2012. The quest for common sense and a return to government for the people, by the people, of the people was waged and fought here. Many brave souls fought a valiant fight against a mindless Borg but ultimately were defeated by the silent majority of Vulcans, the enlightened thinkers, the Wisconsin voters….

Ribs, Recalls, and Reality. Milwaukee Blacks Wined & Dined for Votes!

Ribs 4 Votes 2

Hell Speed Queen ain’t even that good anymore. It certainly is not worth my vote. Is it worth yours? What is our price Black people?
August 2nd the group “Wisconsin Jobs Now” held a barbecue with free prizes and food aimed at potential Black voters in a part of the highly contested district of Alberta Darling who is facing Sandy Pasch. The effort fed people then took them to vote absentee afterwards. This activity is being questioned as to its legality since bribery is forbidden in our voting process.

HOOD WINKED! In the hood, more and more people are starting to see 2+2 DO NOT = 4.

People are waking up to understand that supporting rich union white men means less and less WE get in government benefits and discretionary spending for those of us needing government assistance just to get by these days.
I can only think what one thing remains constant.

The DEMOCRAT Party’s Choke Hold On the Black Community!

Why Democrats Are Bullied By Republicans: State Sen. Tim Cullen

Sen. Cullen (D.) is selling out his own democratic colleagues just days after a 3 week standoff (or abscence) opposing Gov. Walker’s Budget Repair Bill. Cullen is proposing legislation that will end the need for a quorum as presently required in the state’s constitution regarding senate votes. This is just the latest example as to why … Read more

COLLECTIVE BARGAINING = $ FOR NOTHING

Milwaukee Public School teachers actually receive two pensions upon retirement instead of one. The contribution to the second pension is equal to 4.2% of a teacher’s salary, with the school district making 100% of the contribution, just like they do for the first pension. This extra benefit costs taxpayers more than $16 million per year.

While You’re Waiting for Superman, Wonder Woman Is Already Here!

We all agree we want to see our kids get ahead but the main sticking point is the wasteful spending in the districts and the notion that the unions run the show not the taxpayers. It is a simple concept, not one student should go without out if our districts would be fiscally responsible and not beholden to unions. With all the money we have spent for public education, we are still seeing little progress and even more waste and abuse of tax money. When people recommend merit-based pay or vestment (a secured position) based on achievement, the unions run away from these things. Why do they keep fighting for the rights of bad employees, wasteful boards, and downright criminals? Why do they not embrace forward thinking programs regarding the competency of their teachers, secretaries, and all public education workers? Or for that matter fight for programs that are educating our kids effectively before fighting for Viagra?
