FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE!

CORDER CAMPAIGN DISHONEST AGAIN

Milwaukee (March 13, 2012) – Tracey Corder’s campaign has proven itself dishonest again. The first time was when Nicholas Reindl, who received a hefty $500 for managing the Corder campaign, deceitfully attacked former frontrunner Penny Sikora in an action that appalled Democrats and Republicans alike. Now, in a desperate plea to persuade people to attend a fundraising event, Tracey Corder has made false claims that Deanna Alexander, the current frontrunner, has been financially supported by a pro-Walker organization.

Alexander held clear favor with voters in the primary election and has been successful because of her refusal to sell-out to the powers-that-be and her commitment to a non-partisan race. Unlike her accuser, Alexander has not received any organizational contributions whatsoever. Alexander is particularly shocked because she and Corder met in person early on in the race and agreed to mutually avoid mud slinging.

“Corder’s allegation is false. While I have been endorsed by the Wisconsin Family Action PAC, this is because I am pro-family, not because of partisanship. In fact, Governor Walker was not even a topic of consideration in the vetting process,” said Alexander.

“The only contributions that my campaign has received have been from individuals – not

organizations. Furthermore, I have vowed to voters not to accept money from organizations or committees that would be directly impacted by my decisions as supervisor,” said Alexander.

The Corder campaign, on the other hand, has demonstrated expertise in astroturfing – claiming to be “grassroots” and “people-powered” when the opposite is true. Corder has been financed and pushed by a state senator, state representatives, county board members, school board members, and unions that stand to benefit from her campaign.

Corder has even accepted contributions from Next Generation Milwaukee PAC, a political action committee that was formed by current County Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic, who has been reported as having intent to get certain candidates elected to the board in order for herself to become Chairwoman.

Alexander is concerned about Corder’s methods; “The position of county supervisor is non-partisan in order to grant the people a true representative. I have both Democrat and Republican, pro-Walker and pro-recall voter support due to my interest in working with both sides. Corder has unfortunately shown that she is bought-and-paid-for by power, wealth, and politicians.”

Morbid Tours To Revisit Black Milwaukee’s Horrific Past

Morbid Tours To Revisit Black Milwaukee’s Horrific Past

Jeffery Dahmer was a very sick person who did a lot of damage to Milwaukee, especially black Milwaukee. The families of the victims went through hell and still live with the pain of his horrific acts to this day.  On this Saturday, March 3rd, Bam Marketing and Media will begin giving tours of Dahmer’s hangouts and pick up spots to a sold out group of equally sick people who want to see his old stomping grounds.

The mayor, city officials and anyone involved have been silent on the issue. Meanwhile the group giving the $30 tour is claiming it is an informational venture. We all know that is not the case. When asked if they would give any part of the revenue to victim families, they said they would but did not know how to do this. BS!! However victim families have reported no one has reached out to them about anything regarding this.

Groupon was selling tickets but sold out quickly.

The only elected official on the case fighting to stop this has been Milwaukee County Supervisor Jim Witkowiak. He has been vocal about the tours and the need for the community to stand up against this re-victimizing of the families and the city.

It would be good of our Mayor, NAACP, and others get vocal as well. They can help the families either get some peace or some of the earnings from this sick display of human greed. We need to reach out to them and make it happen for these families.

Family, let’s not let these people come in and revisit more hurt on these families without paying the price. We cannot stop them legally, but we can make them miserable and sorry for even attempting this.

Southridge Mall May Prohibit Milwaukee County Buses

ImageShoppers and employees who ride the bus will have to use bus stops off of Southridge Mall’s property if the malls owner gets its way.

According to The Business Journal, Simon Property Group Inc. may prohibit Milwaukee County Transit System bus service on the mall’s property in the near future.

In a memo addressed to the county transportation, public works and transit committee, the Indianapolis-based owner of the Greendale mall raised concerns about the service, including noise and frequency of service.

“Concerns raised by the Simon Property Group have included removal of bus service on the mall property before and after mall hours, financial assistance for continued operation along ring roads during mall hours, signing a hold-harmless agreement for continued operation, addressing noise concerns from nearby residents and overall consolidation of bus service during mall hours,” the memo said.

Currently, there are four bus routes at the mall, serving about 1,200 riders a day, and a freeway flyer service from southwestern Milwaukee County to downtown serving about 310 riders per day.

There is no specific date on when the buses would have to start operating off-property. The county transportation, public works and transit committee will address the memo in an upcoming meeting.

Simon Property Group Inc. currently owns or has an interest in 383 properties in North America, Europe and Asia.
