The Milwaukee Drum would like to thank Mother Williams for her service to the Black Race and Milwaukee during her 30 years in the State Assembly. The community will miss her commitment to the cause of Black People. WE must now find the right person to replace her.

Rep. Polly Williams isn’t going out without a fight… damn I respect that about this Sister. According to her information, the MPS Takeover isn’t dead yet. Williams is stating MPS School Board President Dr. Michael Bonds reports there was a covert meeting of supporters of the Takeover with WI Superintendent Tony Evers at DPI 4.7.2010. Also, there appears to be ongoing meetings to discuss legislation to get what YOUR Governor and YOUR Mayor want… control of the MPS School District.
