As I tucked my kids in for bed last night I was not the only one telling fairytales and painting dreams of a most vivid and vibrant future and a “happily ever after.” I was joined by President Obama in fantasy and fiction telling. As we lay our “kids” to bed in the hopes they are nourished in the dreams and alternate realities we lay out for them, what did we really say? NOT MUCH!! Although I was preaching from the gospel of Disney. Mr. Obama’s fairytale should have come from the Brothers Grimm!

The republican frontrunner will do his best in the a.m. to wiggle out of this video clip. However, he’ll be up all night coming up with a spin to overtake his own mouth saying he was consulting these entities. Hasn’t he been denying this in the debates and in the media? Here we go again with another recall cycle. This time the next up to the execution block is Governor Scott Walker. However this recall won’t be as easy as some people seem to think. There are a lot of factors that will not be reflected in the polls or by the media. Whether you are Republican or Democrat there is much to think about before you sign your name to any recall petition or refute the whole process entirely.

Let me say this, some people think you (we) are really stupid. They can look into a camera, smile real wide, and let some verbal bulls–t come out of their mouths because they honestly believe you cannot decipher or understand what they are really saying. Blame it on (y)ourselves because we just keep eating up the bulls–t as … Read more

Captain’s log Star date 10 August 2011…dust settled in the wake of a political frenzy known as Wisconsin. The new home and birth place of Battleground USA 2012. Requiring Photo ID’s is a simple way to help ensure less fraud in elections. As we witnessed in 2004 and 2008 with the presidential elections, and even now with JoAnne Kloppenburg, voter fraud is indeed a very serious problem. Photo ID is at least one positive attempt to make sure the state of Wisconsin is actively working towards error-free elections and curtaling fraud at the polls.

People are waking up to understand that supporting rich union white men means less and less WE get in government benefits and discretionary spending for those of us needing government assistance just to get by these days.
I can only think what one thing remains constant.

Sen. Cullen (D.) is selling out his own democratic colleagues just days after a 3 week standoff (or abscence) opposing Gov. Walker’s Budget Repair Bill. Cullen is proposing legislation that will end the need for a quorum as presently required in the state’s constitution regarding senate votes. This is just the latest example as to why … Read more
