HOOD WINKED! In the hood, more and more people are starting to see 2+2 DO NOT = 4.

HOOD WINKED!

In the hood, more and more people are starting to understand or realize 2+2 DO NOT = 4.

People are waking up to understand that supporting rich union white men means less and less WE get in government benefits and discretionary spending for those of us needing government assistance just to get by these days. Yes this means you, you waiting on Vliet to get your Quest and BadgerCare. I’m talking to those of you who are waiting to get scholarships and aid for school, daycare, and medicine. Those of us holding our breath to see what kinds of co-pays we will be assessed for BadgerCare after this mess is over with. Make sure you understand what is really at stake before you go out there and keep supporting that tired old mantra about Republicans and who is against us. It is going to cost us big time if we keep supporting those who do not support us! Who else do you think they will pick on if we don’t stand one good time and voice our objections to this new union master?

Surprisingly I hear this more and more and I think people are getting it!! We are either for rich white men getting more money and keeping their billions, or we are united in a joint effort and alliance to support this Republican governor for the good of our own cause….US!

Located in the heart of the Inner City of Milwaukee Wisconsin is the JUSTUS League Headquarters and right there is where I sit in my fortress of solitude and ponder over this mess of an urban dwelling that used to be so vibrant and full of life. I can only think what one thing remains constant.

The DEMOCRAT Party’s Choke hold On the Black Community!

Blacks move in and out, other races move out, jobs gone, drugs, crime, and disease back and festering to higher levels than ever before. The only thing that remains the same is our love for Democrats and everything they tell us to support. I have already embraced a different path and if not for those of us who call out this relationship gone bad, some people would just be happy with the same old, same old. I may not be any more right than the next person, but I see the devil in ALL his forms and this is not what the hell Democracy looks like when I walk down North Avenue.

Lena and Spencer talk, run, and they hide, but at the end of the day we all see the same thing. The hood is still the same as it ever was. They have made little if any impact, they throw us a bone every once in a while to make sure their Couriers, Journals, and Times keep their names visible but what do they really do for YOU?

They keep telling us “it’s the rich business wealthy, evil corporations” and those types raping our communities and taking our opportunities and jobs. Don’t you get tired of hearing the same ish over and over again? When will they own some of this problem and stop getting paid off the backs of blacks?

But WE need to call out the real demons if we’re ever going to get somewhere. I see the real criminals being OUR black representatives first and foremost! Another criminal of the black community is the talking head at the main “news” paper that seems to never do too much here in the city for our young black boys or writers, but sure knows how to stay paid. The other criminals are those black “blue blood” families and bougie negros who want to seem like us (when convenient), but are in bed with the devil himself. Those are the leaders of the attack and rape on black Milwaukee and black everybody!

Ask yourself this question, they had it their way in this state for almost 2 decades and what did they accomplish? What good did you see from this state in its 2 decades of Democracy? Or will you let them off the hook by blaming GWB and other Republicans? The easy marks!

Let’s break it down shall we?

  • Increased costs for insurance for those of us driving. Thanks black representatives!
  • Payday loan scandals that directly hurt US because who else needs a loan. Thanks black representatives!
  • Lena, Spencer, Tamara are all union funded and branded. They also accept PayDay loan money and love a little something, something from the Arabs as well. Did you really think those corner stores and gas stations just opened up over night without some help? As much as Willie Hines worked to try and keep them at bay, his counterparts in the state worked equally as hard to make it easier for them to open up shop and avoid taxes OUR businesses must pay to do the same business.
  • Finger printing by police at random stops to place US in their databases to be called up when they need to pin something on US. Thanks black representatives!
  • Millions of dollars funneled to Cadillac pensions of white men running unions at the cost of our kids educations and futures.

So I say all this to start a discussion about what is OUR reality and what we expect and how do we use this next election to get what we need to not just maintain but to say ENOUGH!

They say people support them but if we look, there are more of us coming out to show some concern for our own way of life. What about you? Did you notice that Lena spent more time on getting Alberta Darling recalled than on your needs, finding jobs, and helping the truly poor? Does it concern you that she and our other black elected get big money to keep us “in line?” Are we sheep and they are our herders or are we going to back it up and flip the script to show them the muscle we have in this community.

Now I am not saying Republicans got it right all the time, but on this one issue, for this brief moment, we need to rise up and be counted. We need to say to hell with the Democrats this one time and start a new trend and take back both parties (possibly add a new party) and remind them who the hell is in charge and whose money counts in the end.

Family, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

April 5th I am asking for your voice and your vote. Do not sit by idly and let them get away with the biggest lynching of all time on OUR poor. Will you join me? Will you send them a mandate that unions have their fair share and it is time we gets ours too!

Peace Family,

WW

Analysis shows emails to Walker favored budget repair bill

http://host.madison.com/wsj/news/local/govt-and-politics/article_ca97c286-fe25-5074-8cb0-5f9a2c240df8.html

Gov. Scott Walker was right: The angry crowds in Madison didn’t tell the whole story of how Wisconsinites felt.

In the week after Walker announced his plan to dramatically curtail public employees’ collective bargaining rights in the state budget repair bill, a wide majority of the emails to him expressed support, an analysis of those emails indicates.

They ALL know the only force to be reckoned with, the true silent, majority is the working poor and poor. We get dumped on, just because, by both parties because we are somehow content with the scraps we are given. I am not content to let the rich get richer.

Guess Who Took Campaign Funds From Pay Day Lenders?

Milwaukee needs Radio Talk Show Host Earl Ingram (1290 WMCS) to get on the radio and ask the following question of State Senator Spencer Coggs (D.). Why did you accept $1,000 from Trevor Ahlberg (Irving, TX) owner of Cash Store for your 2008 campaign?

Then WE need Earl to ask State Representative Tamara Grigsby why she accepted $500 from Thomas Wilcox (Sioux Falls, SD) owner of Ameri-cash Advance Centers?

Family YOU’VE been took once again from those YOU entrust to watch your back. I’m not making this up and here are the facts as reported on Wisconsin Democracy Campaign (http://www.wisdc.org/).

I’ve attached screenshots of the contributions that Coggs and Grigsby have received over the past several years. I highlight the Pay Day Loan contributions because of the legislation that was recently passed. However, notice how much money (donations over $100) are coming to YOUR elected official from OUTSIDE of their districts.

I’ve said it time and time again, follow the money and you’ll understand the legislation and process. If WE are not financially backing OUR officials, someone else is and they are benefiting from that support.

If you read this Earl… one more thing, ask them about the other contributors and how they benefit from their financial support. Here are those screenshots for your review.

Sen. Taylor Tells Ingram To Do Some Research If He Wants Answers

On April 29th, Earl Ingram took to the microphone at 1290 WMCS and lit into State Senator Lena Taylor for her ‘flip flop’ on the Pay Day Loan legislation. His audience began calling in using terms like ‘recall’ and ‘fire’ in speaking about what voters should do to their elected officials. Ingram would mention that he reached out to Sen. Taylor’s office inviting her on to discuss the matter but she failed to respond.

Hmmmm… let me think… the most well-known, toughest, loudest Black Pol – Sen. Taylor – wouldn’t come on 1290 WMCS to take the heat? Let me guess, could it be that she had a conflict with her schedule? Maybe. What else, maybe she was in meetings all day debating upcoming legislation? Maybe. How about she doesn’t respect Ingram or his audience (Black Voters) enough to clear her schedule? Maybe.

I didn’t know the answers to those questions so we hit Facebook to ask Taylor. After reading the comments a few times, it’s clear to me that she thinks Ingram is an amateur. Yes, I’m somewhat out there but Taylor clearly sons Ingram when she advises him “…just a little RESEARCH effort will provide facts and enough information to address his concerns.”

Damn Earl! What next, is she going to tell you to eat your vegetables and clean up your room? Wow! I guess Ingram better get his grown man on and step to Taylor correct or she’ll have to sit him in his little ‘time-out’ chair in the 1290 studio. Like I said, I may be out there somewhat but to me she’s saying she doesn’t have to answer for a damn thing she does.

She also told TMD,“I’m human so I can’t do it all. Never theless, I’m certain that any effort to review the public links that show how our legislative process works— like my website and wisconsin eye and wisconsin.gov will help to enighten those who use those resources to address their concerns.”

In other words, forget you Ingram and your radio audience. Log on to the computer to go through all those documents and read what I’m up to. Either that or call my office and be one of “…the many phone calls we can’t count.”

Ya’ll know I do my best to be fair, so I reached out to a member of the media for their opinion. This is what they told me.

“My initial reaction is that Lena is doing what lots of black politicians in town do when they think they are being targeted for criticism. They go into a defensive mode that doesn’t allow for pointed questions.

BUT I also think she has a valid point in using social media to eliminate the middleman – the media – when it comes to speaking directly to her constituents. More and more, that’s a tactic politicians can use in the new media. Milwaukee Drum should understand that better than most :)”

So as always, you decide. I’ve attached the screen shot of the initial question we asked Sen. Taylor which was “Sen. Taylor will you be responding to Ingram? Respectfully submitted.” A link t0 a post is also found on the wall post (audio-Ingram Wants Answers From Taylor).

What About Those Politicians, Do They Represent YOU?

Before anyone take the time to waste the tax payers dollars to investigate when I am doing this blog. It is done at home and uploaded during my lunch hour on my PERSONAL computer. Okay?

Really understanding politics is something that I admit, I didn’t do.  When I became involved in the cases for Michael McGee and April Griffin, I saw how unprotected we are by the very people we ELECT to assure that we are not violated by our very government systems. Once I began to look into how it works, and how it works for Black people in general, I formed a clear understanding of the difference between a politician and a representative. And also what an “elected official” is as well. I want to share with you my thoughts on this subject and know from the onset that I will step on some toes, but that is what you will get for sticking your big foot out there in the first place.

Let us begin with what a politician is.  I wanted to show you the definitions according to the language we speak, so that you will know it is not MY definition but this is what it is, on the real. A politician is: 1. a person who is active in party politics. 2. a seeker or holder of public office, who is more concerned about winning favor or retaining power than about maintaining principles. 3. a person who holds a political office.

4. a person skilled in political government or administration; statesman or stateswoman. 5. an expert in politics or political government. 6. a person who seeks to gain power or advancement within an organization in ways that are generally disapproved.  I want you to note the underlined words in each of the six definitions of a politician.  What this should tell you, the reader is that a politician is all for HIM/HERSELF bottom line. He or she is an INDIVIDUAL, acting as an INDIVIDUAL and has fooled you into believing that they are representing YOU. But in FACT is definitely not working in your best interest, you know, the one who took the time to go to the poll to elect these mo-fos.

I know you heard the term rogues, and when I think of rogues, I think of the term “rogue cop”, that is where I first heard the word referenced as far as a public figure who has sworn to serve the people is concerned. Well many of these politicians are simply rogue politicians, and rogues aren’t interested in justice or what is right for the people but only for their own political futures. Trying to determine who’s a rogue and who’s just plain inept is difficult. It’s a game of monopoly whether they are rogue politicians or not because a POLITICIAN is in it for his or her self.  They use us for the pieces on the political game board.  The sad thing is that we, in the Black community are so stuck on personality and personal relationship that we forget what we need politically and actually why we elect people to positions.  I recall someone saying, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty” and we simply aren’t being vigilant. And we are ALL virtually SLAVES.

Now that I have discussed the POLITICIAN, let’s take a look at the REPRESENTATIVE.   A representative is, as a noun: 1. a person or thing that represents another or others. 2.  an agent or deputy: such as an legal representative. As an adjective: 1, serving to represent; representing. 2. standing or acting for another or others.

There is only one in Milwaukee who I consider a representative of her constituents. Polly Williams is a representative for her district at the seat of government in Madison.

An official is someone who holds an office in an organization or government and participates in the exercise of authority (either his own or that of his superior and/or employer, public or legally private).  An elected official is a person who is an official by virtue of an election.  This says that what we call an “elected official” is given AUTHORITY by YOU the ELECTOR, who is part of the ELECTORATE, to exercise AUTHORITY on YOUR behalf at the seat of government.  They are only there because of YOU to assure that YOU are not violated by the government, that you are protected from tyranny, etc.  That is why they are there, people. They are not celebrities, or people who should be treated specially.  They are SERVANTS at best. They take an OATH to protect the Constitution of the United State of America, which is a document that protects the Citizens of the United States of America.  In short, this is not happening because we are not keeping “eternal vigilance”.

For Black people all those we have elected to represent US, (with the EXCEPTION of perhaps two at best) are politicians, from City Government to the seats in Washington, they sit and bargain away our right to justice, liberty, protection against tyranny and a decent quality of life. This is reflective in the FACT that many citizens can’t find a job to have a decent life. This is manifested by the sad state of Black affairs in this city and many around the country.

Business is a measure of vibrancy for any community and I am speaking of the Black community, which is my primary concern.  It is a reflection of the financial state of a community and as we can witness the Black community is in a sad position for competitive commerce with those businesses who are literally invaders, sanctioned by licenses granted by OUR elected politicians.  This is why Black folks are always looking for a grant from these foundations for their projects instead of being able to the businesses in their community for the dollars.

I suspect there is a trade off and people are allowed to feed off the Black community with no objection from those we elect, in exchange for something.  How many how many predatory lenders are out there in our community? I have heard so much talk about predatory lending and how these lenders have literally duped people into taking loans but not ONE of them have been sanctioned in any way, nor have the people who were tricked made whole. They simply had to “suck it up”.  It was their fault, even though they were mislead and made to believe that they could afford the loan, we are told. Yeah, blame the victim.  How many pay day loan places?  Who regulates the interest rates they charge? Why are these PREDATORS allowed amongst us, wholesale? How many Class A and Class B liquor licenses are given in Milwaukee?  How many nail shops? How many beauty supply stores? How many restaurants?  How many gas stations that are actually selling cooked food? Once that information is gathered then we can detail where they are really concentrated and ask our elected, WHY? Why did they vote for this, if it is as I suspect, we the people did not benefit. I have more to say but not enough time to say it. Lunch over.  Peace

(audio) Ingram, Listeners Discuss Firing Black Pols

On yesterday’s Evening Rush Radio Show, Earl Ingram may have had his finest moment of his (brief) radio career. Ingram deftly inflamed his listeners while carving up Black Elected Officials for their malfeasance relating to the passage of the weak Pay Day Loan Legislation. With his audience strongly supporting him, Ingram is in a position of strength as he takes on those Black Pols who are silent in their support of these businesses operating in poor neighborhoods.

Listen to the callers speaking about ‘firing’ politicians and even bringing up the possibility of a recall. Ingram may have tapped into an undercurrent which could revolutionize how Black People begin to view their unbreakable support of their elected officials.

Earl & his callers discuss their disappointment with their elected officials.

Pt. 1 – Earl speaks with callers Big Mike (much respect), Wanda and Earl

Pt.2 – Earl speaks with caller Chris

Here is the list of The Sellout Six (WI Democratic State Senators) voting against capping the pay day loan lenders.

Sens. Dave Hansen (D-Green Bay), Bob Jauch (D-Poplar), John Lehman (D-Racine), Mark Miller (D-Monona), Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee) and Bob Wirch (D-Pleasant Prairie)
