Black Milwaukee Faces Déjà Vu In Williams Inquest Outcome But Who is Really At Fault?

Milwaukee Faces Déjà Vu In Williams Inquest Outcome & Who is Really At Fault?

derek_williams_inquest

Special prosecutor denies justice in the Derek Williams murder case and the Black community is outraged again, but who should we really be mad at?

Once again Milwaukee rears its ugly racist head, showing the familiar stench of police brutality and cover-ups everywhere from racial profiling-DWB (Driving While Black) and racism in our court system. These are not nightmares of our past. Milwaukee’s racism is very much alive and well.

**Side note and you want people to live and move here Mayor Barrett! Yeah keep hope alive!**

Not that Black folks need reminding. We know all too well what our reality is in Milwaukee. Sadly we have become complacent and apathetic to the life of the Negro in Milwaukee. We have been warned by crime reports, faulty and otherwise, as well as stories and sightings of renegade cops off of the reservation. Many of us have allowed ourselves to be easily led by false promises and false prophets.
The truth is, as much as we point the finger at the Milwaukee Police Department, the Fire and Police Commission, Chief Flynn, and Mayor Barrett, we too own some of this problem.

Firstly, for decades we have watched as the police target our young Black boys on these streets? We mounted our protests and shared our outrage in the form of 140 word Tweets or FaceBook posts. Not good enough!

racial-profiling

http://themilwaukeedrum.com/2011/06/22/chief-flynn-invokes-chief-brier-to-curb-crime-in-the-inner-city/

Secondly, we have allowed elected leaders that did not truly earn our vote to represent us. They hardly do the work of our people so why would we expect them to do what is right in the time of crisis? I am not condemning all of them. However many of them have gone AWOL during this process. Who among us held them accountable for their unexcused absence? Some newly elected ran on the platform of making a difference in OUR community, promising government accountability from police officers, to teachers, to the court system, and where the hell are they now? I find them the worst of offenders.

Remember their absence when it comes election season in two to four years.
Thirdly, we allowed too many young, un-vetted, un-mentored, people though possibly well intentioned, have the reigns. They may have had their hearts in the right place but they made too many mistakes. They were disrespectful in some instances and needed the help of our historic marches to use as guides of what or what not to do. We as a community also left quality leaders without support and people power needed to boost their voice, our voice.

lacy-family
The Ernest Lacy movement comes to mind as a successful achievement where we came together to forward our concerns in one unified voice. We filled the courthouse inside and out with the entire community and sent a very powerful message. Why not use this case as a reference and these leaders as mentors or guides?
Some of the leaders connected to this case are said to be corrupt. There are claims mounting from credible sources that some have not only tried to make careers from this incident, they have also been  accused of making monetary gain and took needed funding from the family and victim’s children.

protests
This type of unfortunate development cannot stand and should be called out. If people are not in it for the movement of the entire community the entire community suffers. However since the entire community did little we all are to blame. Many elders sat back and watched the destruction, some complained they tried to help but were shouted down.

 protests2

We cannot continue on this path of disconnect or working as separate entities. This makes for easy dismantling of our community. We must find a way to unify and put aside those things that divide us for the greater good. Milwaukee has been down this road long before some of the “leaders” were born and there is some rich history to be sankofa’ed for their benefit and knowledge.

fist
A lesson we must take away from this is that this case will not be the last. I see it as being an unfortunate beginning of dark days ahead for Black Milwaukee if we do not learn and come together. We must get our elected leaders to answer to us. Their task IS more complicated. They knew that going in! Our community leaders need to unify and be well vetted by the community and we need to back them up and support them. If you are in this for a career, fame and fortune you will not last. If you are in this to move the community forward than you will have our full attention but it will take some time as we have trust issues and we have been abandoned before. This relationship goes both ways and to establish trust you must earn it. If we do not own the piece of this we need to, we truly will doom our community to repeat this vicious legacy of brutality.

However at the end of the day no one deserves to die at the hands of another man in this fashion, no matter what he did or did not do. Due process is due process for every person. End of story. No justice no peace!

Black Talker Eric Von Leading Charge To Oust Milwaukee Police Chief Flynn, Community Supports His Effort

10/9/2012 – Von speaks with renowned Atty. Jonathan Safran about the 4 police officers arrested yesterday, the Fire & Police Commission, and Chief Ed Flynn.

Eric Von (IMO) isn’t one to take much of a position or offer very strong opinions on issues or subjects very often. However, give credit to him presently for being outfront in calling for the removal of Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn. It is refreshing to see a public figure in this city standing up for the people and demanding that a bully masquerading as a police chief be fired. The Black Community is calling for action and Von may very well be their best advocate for getting to their desired end (we’ll see).

I look forward to seeing how Von the talk show host, developes into Von the community activist.

A City Of Unrest-Exploring the Milwaukee Police Department & Black Milwaukee

A City Of Unrest-Exploring the Milwaukee Police Department & Black Milwaukee

And so here we are at the point where I sadly warned in a previous blog that this rogue police department might hurt or kill someone if we did not pay attention to the warning signs laid out clearly not so long ago. Anyway here we are….

So What Do We Now?

First Off We Need To Identify All The Problems of the Community

Derek Williams sadly is not the only issue on the table here. We have a city that is crime ridden and infested with guns and senseless violence. Police response time is slow, homicides are way up, and as we see some police are now playing Judge Dred. Think of the unreported cases of this type of behavior and the people in fear that have not come forward and will not report their stories. Imagine the people who may be one time offenders, wrongly accused, or simply got caught up. No Mr. Belling we are not all thugs and one day someone’s baby will die at the hands of a judge/jury MPD godlike monster. What will happen then? Now turn it around and think of the officers who are doing the right thing and the harm they are now facing because their fellow officers have now declared war on a community stirred up and untrusting of those who are supposed to protect them. This makes for an unsafe working condition for those officers who are committed to serving and protecting this community.

GUNS & VIOLENCE

For too long the crime rate has been spiraling out of control. We have not gotten outraged at our own for the damage we inflict on each other. Where are all these guns coming from? Why are people being gunned down like animals. Just this past weekend 5 people were gunned down, one fatally. Where is the outrage and the protests against this? We cannot accept this either. We must be a consistent people.

POLICE BRUTALITY!

I already blogged about police stops and speed traps that left young black men on streets in positions that looked very questionable.

http://themilwaukeedrum.com/2011/06/22/chief-flynn-invokes-chief-brier-to-curb-crime-in-the-inner-city/

These stops and traps were/are set up in specific areas of town that are designed to “catch us” and then I went on to question how these unfair stops leave young black men with towed and impounded cars, tickets, criminal cases and records. This then leaves them in the system and then makes them products of the criminal justice system and unable to find jobs and productive futures. This was and still is phase one of the brutality. It is still happening. However we watched and we did little. Some complained as I did but these traps and stops continue. They must stop!

Secondly, we watched as a police officer beat up a man on TV not too long ago. The victim was not black so it washed over us pretty much. Whatever the circumstances, it did not look acceptable to me and I did not buy the excuses, or Flynn’s defense of his rogue officers.

Look at the pattern. This has been going on for some time and we are going to need to identify and expose each and every misstep in order to correct and change the behavior that has been allowed.

JUST SAY NO TO CHRIS ABELE!

Note that County Executive Chris Abele wants to use our city police to replace county sheriffs to staff county parks. This cannot be. City police are already out gunned and outnumbered in the city streets and we cannot afford to let Abele play politics with his sheriff department because he wants to assert authority over David Clarke.

If Chris Abele thinks that pulling MPD out of overrun city streets to put them in quite decently managed parks is the answer to anything in this city or county, he is not only telling us that he thinks nothing of our health and wellbeing in this city. He is also telling us that politics is his only concern above all else! That is scary! We need to watch him too. He and his henchman Farley took down Johnny Thomas so we must be concerned with who is next on his list. He too is not a friend of the black community right now! You may not like Clarke but he is a brother first and sheriff second. Remember that FAM! What is done to one is done to the whole.

WE MUST WATCH OUT FOR THE PITFALLS!!

UNITE!!!!

There are a few different groups that are strong and organized. If we could get those groups to combine as one force for a singular cause this would scare a lot of folks. This time we mean business!

In speaking to someone last night I was reminded that this is not a black cause alone. This is a humanitarian issue. Very true indeed! That being said we should accept the helping hands that come our way and welcome and invite others who want to join us to do so. It only serves to make us that much more powerful. The purposeful murder of a human being in what should have been the safety of civil servants is a humanitarian issue.

We also should remember those who do not support us. Those who find time to make their way to the hood during elections but cannot find their way when we are in need of assistance. They must be called into question for their hypocritical actions. They really don’t care about us and only show up when votes are needed. They know who they are. The white van driving, fake community concerned folks who claim to care so deeply about us, but disappear when it’s time for real action. Come November 6th I bet they will show up and act as if nothing happened expecting us to get back into their warm vans and do as they say.

The common tactic here is to divide and conquer. Meaning if they can keep us fractured and separated using egos, power plays, lack of solidarity and other devices that typically keep us from coming together as one family, they will win again. As a family, we must stay away from the things that keep us separated and stand firm in one voice. In Milwaukee this is a difficult task because there is so much back stabbing and bravado that goes on behind closed doors, especially in Black Milwaukee. Gossip, innuendo, purposeful divisiveness, not allowing people to have their individual voice yet still be part of the family. These are the things that keep us separated. However I do believe that times like these either bring out the best or the worst in us. I chose to believe that this horrible event will bring out the best in us and that this young man’s death will not be in vain.

MARK BELLING VS. EARL INGRAM & JAMES CAUSEY!

This common tactic always gets somebody and now here it is being used again successfully. Mark is the MPD union’s boy. They bring him out to run a screen play on us every time and it always works. He makes a statement and somebody uses their power that should be used to move the cause and then diverts that power of time and media to use people power to do what get an apology? Come on man? How kindergarten is that? We got bigger fish to fry! Game peeps game. You are being used to get people off message.

First off, words only gain power over you if you allow them to. If I were to let words people call me or use against me, have power over me, I would be in a crawled up in a corner somewhere crying and you would never hear from me again. Ha ha not happening!! So I ask why allow Mark Belling have this power over you? There is a now a “march” against Belling coming up which directly conflicts with the Williams movement. You have now become a mark for the opposing team. That is what they wanted and their screen play has once again diverted time, resources, column space, and momentum from the main, most important movement. In my opinion this is an error in judgment. Mark Belling has a show. He lives in America. He has a right to his silly, petty opinions and to express them out loud. If anything it is important we know “his truth” because his truth is many other people’s truth. It is better to know it than not to know it at all. Would you prefer we lived in a bubble of ignorance thinking everyone is standing with us? We do not have to like what Mark says, but we also do not have to support him by transferring his message, giving him ratings by listening in, writing and talking about Mark Belling (gross) rather than about Derek Williams and we do not have to keep building his audience for him. All of which we are doing now. I do not blame Earl or James at all. I do think their hearts are in the right place, but like with anyone you disagree with, you ignore them and they tend to go away or put them out of sight and out of mind. Mark depends on this tiny backlash for ratings and headline boosts. As an aside, I also question one of the people backing this particular movement who is not backing the Williams movement from where I sit. This person always has an ax to grind with Mark Belling so taking people off course must be called into question and we need to understand their motives are not our motives at all.

The movement is Derek Williams, the City of Milwaukee, and the community. We are not on Mark Belling right now. There is a time and a place for everything. Right now justice is what we seek and we need all hands on deck. Art of War, good book, get a copy and make use of it.

WHERE YA AT?

Just some months ago many people where knocking on doors, on our radios, on our phones, at our churches and wherever we turned there they were asking for our votes. Now they have disappeared except for a few faithful who are standing with us.

This almost makes me want to recall the very people we just elected and those “securely” in office. Some of these people, not quite elected, some still on the ballot in November (take note) have already shown they cannot be trusted to have our backs. They are not even sworn in and they are M.I.A!!

Some of our elected are M.I.A!! They nowhere to be found. This cannot be. Either you get your butts in these streets or we will hold you as accountable as we do Chief Flynn. Some of you are on the ballot in November but you seem to think you are a shoe in and therefore this call for justice does not affect you. I hold you to the same standard as I do the chief of police. Your silence is complacency!! Make the time!! Tom and Willie for far too long you have let this chief run rogue and not held him accountable for any of his mismanagement. And I will do you one more. When this chief got in troubles the mayor used that to have a chief he could control and make his b…….. Yes I said it!!

Now bear with me because here comes my conspiracy theory:

This is how we got here and how the MPD went rogue on this mayor’s watch…

Stay with me: Tom Barrett in his infinite wisdom knew he had a man down in Flynn, a man who needed cover he could provide. Barrett knew he needed a department he could control, a department that could furnish critical numbers, crime reports, give false safety and security, and provide citizens a feeling of a “happy and safe city.” Tom Barrett knew he had aspirations of getting out of the mayor’s office and knew that by controlling MPD reports he could make himself look good. What he did not count on is that this chief would be so infective that he would allow and look the other way while rogue bans of officers grew and flourished. Instead of investigating the many stories that Flynn knew full well were occurring, he decided he was going to support his troops no matter what. Thus that silly statement he gave regarding the Williams case when he should have kept his mouth shut. A good mayor knowing Flynn was going to address the press would have told him to shut the hell up and put him on lock down. Barrett sat and watched that train wreck so he could put him in the position of an expendable causality because he can no longer afford to cover him.

Back to reality: Barrett’s Bad Luck!

With a horrible economy and no clue how to create or grow jobs, Barrett decided to focus on the most revolutionary, job creating choo choo trains and even more important than that becoming governor of the state. He stayed attached to a president that left him for dead in the recalls, a president that gave him no hope or change for Milwaukee that he could bank on to get him out of the hot seat he current holds for another 3 years. So now he too sits next to Flynn and must be as accountable because he watched some of this mess unfold with the DA, with the Medical Examiner, with his own personal police force. No excuses!!

Barrett also did not realize that a horrible mayor 90 miles south of here would make for a crime spree that would reach to Milwaukee and back. Yes Tom Barrett’s luck is bad and is getting worse and he has no idea how to stop it. Now he has a city of unrest and it won’t stop because he requested a federal review. Oh no!! There is much he must do to make this right.

He is going to have to listen to us, he is going to have to do something with these officers, especially the ones who have prior offenses, and he is going to have to revamp his Medical Examiner’s office. Yes they need review too!! They too are just as culpable. Yet their carelessness goes unnoticed because we are not scientifically savvy as a community. All one needs do is think about general fact finding. The ME’s Office knows full well there was video evidence available to them at that time. At any time they could have inquired and opened their mouths to request squad car footage. So to say they did not know there was a tape they are just as much full it. Any Medical Examiner knows that squads carry video cameras and knew that this man was riding in a squad car and that they would need to secure any video evidence to help them piece together missing pieces to complete their investigation. Complacency has run amok all over this city and just laying it at Flynn’s feet is doing a disservice to all of the community in the interest of the Williams family and humanitarian justice!

Think about this. The MPD says they see this every day, people in custody, using stunts to get free or get air when in custody. It stands to reason others see “these excuses” or complacency at the ME’s office, at the DA’s office, court system, criminal facilities, everywhere in the city. The cops are not the only ones immune to compassion and humanity, so we cannot let this rest on the feet of one man solely because really there is enough blame to go around on so many different levels. Look at our complacency at the murders of our own by our own. That too is an injustice. It all leads to the fact we need to take back our city and our streets in a very bold way.

The time is now, the moment is now. Let this be the last death that unites us in this way. We have an opportunity to make real change and we can only do that by calling out all truths and all offenders of injustice to humankind.

Peace Family,

Time For Black Milwaukee To March On Teflon Tom, Occupy Wells St.

Mayor Barrett…How Much Longer on the Throne?

Taken from MediaTrackers.org – Brian Sikma (5/12/12) According to the Center On Wisconsin Strategy, (COWS) a progressive leaning think tank funded in part by Wisconsin taxpayers, the statewide African American unemployment rate in 2005 stood at 10.9%. That was just 1.1 percentage points higher than the jobless rate among African Americans in 2000. But in 2010, the latest year for which COWS data appears to be available, Wisconsin’s African Americans suffered from a 25% unemployment rate.

In just five years, Wisconsin’s African American unemployment rate jumped 150%, with most of those suffering from the crisis living in Mayor Barrett’s Milwaukee.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________

A little Friday Fire…

How much longer are WE GOING TO STAY SILENT BLACK PEOPLE!!!!!

The mayor has been in our CITY HALL for toooooooo long as our unemployed Black Men have suffered without jobs as downtown has boomed. He attempted to take over MPS a couple years ago, but in Typical Tom fashion he lost that one too (3x loser for Gov.). Why are Black People sooooo afraid to say that the mayor is ineffective and has done little (I’m being generous) to get Black Milwaukee back to work.

Don’t give me that ish about Talgo…that train has left. Century City is still a concept…where are the jobs? What legislation or serious proposal has Teflon Tom authored to address Black Unemployment in this town?

Check for yourself at the mayor’s webpage and look through the list of “Highlights” listed and find a SINGLE mention of BLACK UNEMPLOYMENT! Maybe I’m being a littl hasty…let’s check out the mayor’s issues on his website where he talks about economic development and job creation. Maybe the mayor talks about BLACK UNEMPLOYMENT here.

Nah, nothing for you BLACK PEOPLE!!!

Ok…

Since 8 years have passed and study after study has been produced about BLACK UNEMPLOYMENT and NO LEADERSHIP has come from the mayor’s office, I suggest that maybe the mayor is a visual learning. If BLACK PEOPLE took over city hall and that section of Wells St. then maybe the mayor would understand WE ARE SERIOUS. Last summer, thousands of people went to Wall Street in New York and made a statement that they weren’t happy. A movement called “Occupy” sprung up all across the country.

Why not OCCUPY WELLS STREET and let the mayor know that he know longer has our support or vote.

“Souled Out!” Top Blacks Sell out the Black Community in Wisconsin Recalls.

Black elected and top Black officials sell out the Black community in Wisconsin Recalls.

Aka …What Have You Done For Me Lately Tom Barrett?

Warning this is rated “T” for truth talk! You been warned.

Screw ideology, party politicking, Scott Walker love, and anything else people pin on me. This is about me “Citizen WW” of Milwaukee’s inner city and my disappointment with my mayor and some of my Black elected in which I entrusted to make ALL of Milwaukee a better place. I’m still waitin’!!

And now you want me to vote for you for governor so you can screw us statewide. Ah thanks, but no thanks!

My beloved Black community, no matter what, you must admit at one time or another you question, or have questioned where on the list of Tom Barrett’s priorities are we? We seem to be so loyal to the Democratic Party to the point we often forget that in these times when every vote counts, we need to put ourselves out there loudly and demand a little something, something for our vote!

FRUSTRATION

We have waited 8 years for Tom Barrett to do something together with us and for us to move this inner city out of the doomed, desolate independent island it has become. If it were not for Milele Coggs, Willie Hines, the new youth movements, and others (whether you agree with them or not) have been the only ones to recognize our existence. To my disappointment Mr. Barrett you have not formed successfully any segregation task force, an inner city business coalition, an independent task force to study urban blight in Milwaukee as it is uniquely different from anything in any other state in the union despite the painstaking work put out there for you to use in the war against racism and segregation.

Selling Out

Tom Barrett has been all over the state in the last months meeting with labor unions, residents, business officials, all to secure their vote. He is now engaged in “Neighbor to Neighbor” campaigning all around the state but noticeably absent from his list of “neighbors” is the Black population of the entire state. Yes thanks to our eagerness to support continued failure, we are not on Tom Barrett’s “to do” list AT ALL.

Before even becoming the Democratic candidate in the recall race, some Black s bucked with unions supporting Kathleen Falk in favor of the more appeasing Barrett. They also bucked union loyalty and the very reasons for the recalls, but that’s for another blog! Before the primary elections, before Tom Barrett even dropped his name officially, many Blacks signed off on his candidacy without any promises to the Wisconsin Negro. NONE! WE just gave it up. Barrett didn’t even have to ask. Lena Taylor appeared on Ed Schultz’s MSNBC show the very next night putting it out there for free (“it” meaning our support).

Barrett checked us off the “to do” list before we even had a chance to gather or list our demands without a care in the world. He sent Maholn Mitchell and other Black elected to gather the “loose sheep” and kept it moving.  Like the soulless people some of our Black elected have become they bowed down and kissed the ring. “All good here my Lord!!” “No problem here masa, we got your back!”

Hold the hell on one damn minute. Let’s take a look at what Tom Barrett has done, or rather not done for the Milwaukee Negro and his role in the lack of advancement of our people!

  • Barrett is a non factor, non presence in this community. A couple of appearances in safe houses like Black churches or in Black media don’t count as being actively present in our community. We have allowed him to use these comfort zones tirelessly. We never demand he be at the countless homicide vigils, on the porches of those who have nothing to do all day because they have no jobs, or at the homeless shelters filled to the brink with our people standing in never ending lines that seem to grow each day. He is not in the schools reading books or sponsoring drives to collect needed items for those desperately in need of saving. A good mayor would be on the front lines, boots on the ground…like Cory Booker of New Jersey. It ain’t that hard, it’s your city. Let me see you walk down all North Avenue without a camera crew and talk to real rock from the rock about what’s really hood out here.
  • Barrett has presided over 8 years of hyper segregation without saying a word about it. Milwaukee was in a measly third place pre-Barrett and now comfortably occupies the #1 spot under his regime. Makes you wonder if it was not his problem from jump as many claim, then why won’t he solve it or even address it? What does he have to loose? He didn’t create it. Agreed but he certainly has condoned its existence and growth by his consistent silence about it.
  • Instead of creating jobs and attending to the most pressing issues of the day, Barrett has been chasing Mr. Roger’s trolley dreams, with no promising interests for us. The trolley, a federal funded program that was designed to support transit in the city that links to the central train system has been sitting around for years until now. See my blogs “Streetcar Named Segregation” or “Streetcar Named Debt” for the run down. The plan has no inclusion of Negro interaction until its last stages only if it is successful. Even now we see alder people arguing, almost fighting on this issue and its importance on Milwaukee’s list of priorities. Those for it refuse a referendum because they don’t want the truth to come out about its “lack of steam.” Not to mention the utility concerns, outrageous costs, and local business concerns about how the trolley plan will hurt businesses by clogging up streets and blocking access.

One must in good concious wonder exactly where on the “Barrett list” are Black Milwaukeeans? More importantly why did our Black pols sell out our most precious vote without a request, list of demands, any programming, a meeting, or attention to what matters most to us-JOBS!

Like a cheap —– we gave it up, our vote, our voice, without getting our cut off the top! Like the unions are doing, they are getting something for their partnership with Barrett. Believe that!

Adding Insult to Injury

Sending Mahlon Mitchell to the hood was another insult and slap in the face. He is not from our hood and does not understand our struggle to survive. Not even sure who he is, hard to get some background on the brother. All I know is he is a union boy with no ties to Milwaukee’s inner city. He came with no plans, no promises, no prosperity for Milwaukee Negros, just more party rhetoric which means nothing to us. We heard it all before brother! We still looking to get fed and words ain’t fillin’ the empty plates. Bring us something we can get behind, some numbers, some benefits, or some programs and tell me what you will do if you had access to state coiffeurs. Unlike some of my Black elected and despite what ya heard, I like steak and lobster not hope and change. I can’t feed my family on promises anymore. Do some damage and show me what ya got! Unveil the plan, lead the new revolution, and give us the same thing you give to unions and those whose votes you all are working so hard to get. Don’t tell me about debates, investigations, and what the other guy didn’t do, tell me what you will do FOR ME!

So I ask as I hope all Blacks will demand of their Black elected, leaders, and media outlets:

  • What Black pol is going to dare tell Barrett to hold up a second and tell him we got some demands or we taking our ish back. No vote until we get some concessions!
  • What Black pol is willing to shed the “D” burned on their chest and tell these people we hurtin’ and until we see some hope and change coming our way we won’t be givin’ it up like expected?
  • What Black leader elected or otherwise is going to tell Barrett and the like that we dying out here and now the police are on us too? Come on somebody feel me out here!
  • What media outlet will ask the hard questions, buck the Democratic rhetoric and go off script to have some real grown up discussion? Hello anybody? I know somebody other than me is sick of taking the same old ish every single election cycle.

I’m just sayin’ we can do better, go further, move FORWARD if we weren’t so damn cheap with our vote. Want to know why so much apathy? We sell out every chance we get! Stand in solidarity and demand our 40 acres and a mule before we give our vote!

Tom Barrett win or lose we still got him one way or another so if not now when things are tight and votes matter, when do we put us first? I know in these next few weeks if we make a concentrated effort we can gain his attention and make our vote worth more than it has ever been. Lord knows we been carrying him all the way to the unemployment lines and back faithfully. It is time for Tom Barrett to do some heavy lifting and court us in the Black community like the rest of this state. It is also past time to demand that our Black pols do us a solid and stop selling us out without getting something off the top like every other group. Stop jumping the gun and being a “yes” person and make some demands.

SMH!!!

I got a right to be hostile, man my people being persecuted!”
