I just read an article on jsonline regarding comments Lee “I Say” Holloway directed at current county staffers. It crossed my mind that Holloway is next in line for Walker’s seat if he does beat Tom Barrett in a few weeks. Ask yourself, if you were Holloway would’n’t your naturally be interested in assuming the County Executive Office?

Here’s an excerpt from the online article.

Holloway also suggested he might appoint himself interim county executive, which would keep him in the county’s top job another 45 days until a special election could be called to fill the vacancy.

“It’s possible the county executive will be up in the governor’s office and leave all this stuff – and I could use a better word for it – to the County Board,” he said, referring to 2011 budget problems.

Holloway told staffers during a County Board budget review session that he demanded respect for the board.

“I don’t care who you work for” now, he said. “I won’t tolerate it.”
