Col West is the man to watch, he exemplifies the quintessential American Leader:
Former socialist/liberal/progressive, second generation American of Mexican descent, revert to Roman Catholicism and small business owner with an unshakeable belief in our free enterprise system and our Constitutional form of government. Aka TFG

It is too soon to be throwing roses at someone’s feet who has been in office what… a few weeks? This is what happens to many of us, we place such high regards and lofty adjectives on people before they’ve done anything. This is such a microwave, what have you done lately country it never surprises me. We’ll see if he can govern like his mouth oft speak.

G, I totally agree with you, however it is possible to assess people’s leadership abilities regardless of the time in office or in any other profession for that matter (I have had to assess that quality in my interviews with prospect managers and hourly employees). In Colonel West’s case he has had a very traceable leadership track record from which to base some assumptions on, whether or not someone agrees with his politics is a another matter. If he should not follow through with what he proposed during his campaign then I would be the first one to say the I made a mistake in assessing his character but not his leadership ability.
Lastly, legislators do not govern per Se but they do represent their districts based on the principles they espoused during the time leading up to their election to office.

Passion is what’s absent in much of the inntreet based content I go through these days. Your own article has the optimum blend of compiling passion as well as nicely written material and i’m satisfied.
