Chez Ordonez Responds To Ald. Bob Donvan's Comments On Black Youth
August 8, 2011 at 1:53 pm
Firstly it is sad that we are making a name for ourselves by using Blacks once again as the dumbie target!!
Secondly Ald. Donovan is not saying anything Blacks have said in great number. Do note he said “US” “our failure,” etc… meaning us as community. He could have been clearer about his terminology, he also glossed over HYPERSEGREGATION, which is everyone’s fault.
However glad to see politics at work here. I never seen this man in our community before why does he care now? $$$$$$$ Look do not come to us for votes. Go help some Black people get jobs, or read and then tell me what YOU did for the Black community other than run your mouth. We got enough hot air in the hood!!!

These two Aldermen (Donovan and Dudzik) step up and say that it is everyone’s fault for what is happening because we have ignored our failings in the inner City for too long, and Chez thinks that’s wrong? When you let your school system deteriorate, take away family-supporting jobs, set up a welfare system that encourages fathers to stay out of the picture, and set up a juvenile justice system that does nothing to help the children (just punish), you end up with kids who act out in frustration with their whole situation.
Alderman Donovan isn’t blaming the African-American race, he’s blaming years of government inaction and failing policies – i.e. – we reap what we have sown. Do you really disagree with that Chez? Are you really trying to say that is a racist statement? How? Thanks Wonder Woman for seeing this for what it is. My guess is he supports the streetcar too.
These exact statements were echoed by the leader of the Milwaukee Chapter of the NAACP during Chief Flynn’s press conference, yet no one accused him of blaming the whole African-American Community or for pushing the races further apart. Why is it met with such anger when a member of another race says the same thing?

Donovan clearly states “We are reaping the harvest we’ve sown.” No where does he say that Black people did this alone and it is very dastardly to try and make a name for yourself based on a horriffic event.
He is clearly trying to gain popularity and we must not let him use us or events to gain fame and fortune!!
