Milwaukee Writers’ Circle holding book launch breakfast with authors
Event will showcase anthology book written by seventeen authors, meant to promote the cultures and traditions of Milwaukee
Milwaukee, WI: Today, The Milwaukee Writers’ Circle, a community of experienced and emerging authors is holding a book launch breakfast for their Anthology “MILWAUKEE: PEOPLE PLACES AND TRADITIONS”. The book, which is the second to be published since the creation of the group in 2010, is created to help educate tourists about the local culture, lifestyle, beauty, places and traditions of the people of Milwaukee. It contains beautiful crafted words and poetry by seventeen authors, who have shared their experiences about the joy, satisfaction, intrigues and fulfillment the city of Milwaukee has to offer its visitors. Some of the topics covered in the book includes sports stories, Harley Davidson festival, a guide on how to drive in Milwaukee Blizzards, floating along the Milwaukee River on Jazz Cruise, supernatural happenings and more.
Every year, Milwaukee receives millions of visitors who enjoy discovering amazing things about the city. However, most of them do not get to take advantage of the potentials the city has to offer. Reading the book will help tourists understand the city better, discover incredible places, restaurants, parks and centers, and have more fun. “Milwaukee has more to offer than beer and cheese. We want tourists to explore the city of Milwaukee through the words of poets, essayists, and novelists,” said Heddy Keith, certified Hypnotherapist, founder, and president of Milwaukee writer’s circle.
The book launch breakfast will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the Radisson Milwaukee North Shore 7065 N. Port Washington Road, Glendale, WI, between 9am – 11:30am. Participants will have the opportunity to dine and meet with the authors, vendors, raffles and have their book signed.
To order your signed copy of the Anthology in addition to the one you will receive at the breakfast, call Heddy Keith at 414-241-2563.
